CEFIA Flagship: AC Webinar on 15th February 2024

The new flagship project on AC (air conditioning) systems was launched in August 2023 during the 5th CEFIA Forum in Bali, Indonesia.

Nowadays, the use of air conditioners to stay cool is rapidly growing in emerging economies, such as those in ASEAN countries, becoming one of the top drivers of global electricity demand.

Our first webinar for the AC Flagship project will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

During the webinar, a professor from Waseda University, representatives from the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries Association, and DAIKIN Industries, will address the critical energy issue of using ACs in ASEAN countries. They will explain approaches to this issue through HVAC technologies and the setting of high-efficiency standards. Following their presentations, they will discuss possible actions to reduce electricity consumption in a panel discussion.
