CEFIA Government-Private Forum

CEFIA Government-Private Forum provides a venue for multi-sectoral discussions on investment opportunities, industry innovations, and cleaner energy project financing.

As stated in the Joint Ministerial Statement of the 16th Ministers Meeting, the 1st Government-Private CEFIA Forum was held in the Philippines on 27 November 2019, followed by the 2nd CEFIA Forum which was held on February 2, 2021 (web conference).

The most recent Forum was held on 13 February 2025, for the first time in Japan (Kobe-city). The event brought in 70 people in-person at the Ariston Hotel Kobe, and an additional 135 participants online.

The 8th CEFIA Forum was held on 17 October 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The forum was hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation of Malaysia.
