The 7th CEFIA Forum was held on 13 February 2025

The 7th CEFIA Forum was held in Kobe, Japan on 13 February 2025. 

As the first CEFIA Forum to be held in Japan, the hybrid event also included a networking dinner on 13 February and on-site excursions for ASEAN government officials at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, IHI Corporation, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries on 13 & 14 February. 

The forum gathered participants from governments, businesses, and financial institutions across Japan and ASEAN countries to discuss the progress of collaborative projects aimed at introducing clean energy technologies to ASEAN.

The event featured presentations on Japan's hydrogen and ammonia policies, the launch of new collaborative projects in these areas, and introductions to advanced Japanese technologies such as perovskite solar cells, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), and transition finance initiatives. Lively discussions were held on future directions for public-private partnerships.
